Kate Dawes is the Director and Trichologist of Medical Hair Restoration Australia. Registered with the International Association of Trichologists and with over 30 years of experience in the hair industry, Kate specialises in male and female hair loss.

Kate is also the Senior Artist of Foli Sim Scalp Micropigmentation, meaning she is a force to be reckoned with in the SMP industry. Her participation in conferences both in Australia and around the world is a testament to her reputation as a masterful practitioner and hair loss expert.

“My aim is to help people overcome hair loss holistically using a multi-therapy approach. I look at their diet, lifestyle, genetics and other contributing factors before prescribing treatments”.

During a consultation, microscopic photos of the client’s hair, scalp and follicles are taken; blood tests are also often required to determine other possible causes. If necessary, we perform a hair mineral analysis test. Once we have all the test results, we prescribe an individualised treatment.

Dr jennifer Martinick

Dr. Jennifer Martinick has been an acclaimed specialist in Hair Transplantation for over 25 years. After many years dedicated to researching and developing surgical techniques, she is renowned for hair transplants so natural in appearance that they’re undetectable to the untrained eye.

Dr. Martinick is also esteemed thanks to her work in restorative surgery, which entails correcting previous hair transplants and replacing plug grafts with follicular unit transplants.

Presenting lectures in Australia, Asia, Europe and the United States, Dr. Martinick is in high demand to present her research around the globe. She is also the first Australian and first woman to receive the highest honour in the field of hair restoration surgery, the ISHRS Platinum Follicle Award, in New York in 2003.

Michael Dawes is the General Manager of Medical Hair Restoration Australia, overseeing the administration and day-to-day management of the business. With his background in Human Resource Management, Michael is a customer service whiz and dedicates himself to making our clients feel as knowledgeable and comfortable as possible.

Simultaneously a Founding Partner and Managing Director of Foli Sim Scalp Micropigmentation, Michael has seen first-hand the life-changing effects that MHRA’s hair loss solutions can have on people’s lives, further fuelling his commitment to our clients.
